National Convention is for Family Entertainers!

Today the organizers of M.A.G.I.C (Magical Arts Gathering In Canada), the combine CAM/PCAM convention began announcing acts.  This year there will be a special emphasis on Family entertainment with a special panel talk, performances and lectures by three of the worlds top Family Entertainers!

David Kaye ( Silly Billy )

David Kaye is a professional children’s entertainer based in New York City. Using comedy, magic, and balloon twisting, he is best known as the clown character Silly Billy. He has performed for the families of such celebrities as David Letterman, Michael J. Fox and Bruce Springsteen.  He has appeared on television shows including VH1’s Celebracadabra and has consulted with companies that want to know how to make children laugh, including Children’s Television Workshop (Sesame Street) and a multinational restaurant chain.

David Ginn

David Ginn performs 300-400 shows yearly at schools, libraries, conventions and churches in his home state of Georgia.  He has been doing this for over 35 years!  He is also an accomplished author having written over 80 books, audio tapes and video/DVD’s on magic, comedy, entertaining; particularly children and promoting oneself as an entertainer.  On top of all that he has written over 250 columns for major magic and clown trade publications!

Mike Bent

Mike Bent is Boston’s Best Comedy magician!  Most recently Mike was invited to perform alongside Justin Bieber, the cast of “Glee”, pop-sensation Fergie and Disney’s Channel’s Aly & A.J. for the Annual White House Easter Egg Roll.  The program that day read “One of the most creative and imaginative people in magic” and we agree.  In 2009 Mike was voted Boston’s Best Children’s Entertainer by Nickelodeon in their Parent’s Picks Awards
